Under the freedom of information act, if you request S.A.R and GP notes how long are you expected to wait. I have been waiting over a month now. Anyone have any experience of this. Thanks V

Just to clarify, it isn't the Freedom of Information legislation. The Freedom of Information Act doesn't give people access to their own personal data such as health records; it's about accessing public data. The relevant legislation is the Data Protection Act 1998 together with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The timescale for responding to a SAR used to be 40 calendar days but is now 30.
I requested my notes from the hospital & they came within 6 weeks, they weren't complete so I asked for all of them & they arrived today - brilliant service & wil fill in the missing gaps for me! I didn't have to pay anything either.
