I can’t understand why this has now shot back up again. It was dropping back into the normal range. And now has gone back up. And help why this is happening.

November the 20th

Serum free T4 level 20.4 pmol/L [9.01 - 19.05]

TSH level < 0.01 miu/L [0.35 - 4.94]

October the 12th

TSH level < 0.01 miu/L [0.35 - 4.94]

T4 level 17.8 pmol/L [9.01 - 19.05]

Any help would be good.

Thanks

You need your FT3 tested to see what's happening. Could be you're not converting very well. :)

The only thing that was different, the medication was a different between 150 of it was teva brand and 25 was in Warcraft brand. I think they run out of all the same and gave me a mixed. Normally when I take 175 teva brand t4 level is normally above. Maybe it might be that?

I'm not sure that would cause your FT4 to rise. Maybe you're just not converting it. Maybe you have Hashi's?

Don’t know. I’d had my thyroid removed due to cancer. There was never no problem before they remove it.

That means nothing. All sorts of problems can arise when you have your thyroid removed and start taking exogenous hormone. But, you would need your FT4 and FT3 tested at the same time to know how well you are converting. :)

I’ve got a telephone call with one of the doctors soon. So I’d asked them, if they can’t then I’ve got a appointment with the endo in January so I’d asked him as well. Because the last time I spoke to a 👩‍⚕️ is said asked for the phone call. But didn’t do anything think 🤔 about it. And said she would have to contact my endo and I didn’t here anything back. And this time she the same doctor 👩‍⚕️ again saying that I’ve got to talk to a doctor 👩‍⚕️ again. But I don’t really think she knows what she doing. And My normally 👩‍⚕️ is off sick at the moment. And the other 👩‍⚕️ who deals with me is now only doing to days a week and don’t find time to see everyone. So it’s lefted to all the new 👩‍⚕️ in the doctors.

OK, well, it's not really a problem that your FT4 is over-range - unless you feel worse - as long as your FT3 is in range. But, as they don't test that, it's difficult to know. You could try asking for an FT3 test when you speak to the doctor. But, as I said, what is more important is how you feel. :)

Tied, sleepy, headache, always think I’ve got a head cold. Coughing and feeling hot when it’s cold. I’ve been in just s T-shirt today, instead of a jumper. And breathing is sometimes difficult. So think I might be coming down with something.

Yes, it does rather sound like it. But, you do need your FT3 tested to know what's going on. :)

What time did you take your last dose of Levo before each test?

I’ve read a few post it. And Everyone is always advice is don’t take your medication Before a blood test and allow 24 hours. I normally received a text message when the blood test is due at 9am. Because I’ve already taken my medication at 5. I don’t go until the next day. And bloods is a walking in and opened at 8am till 12pm. And it’s not fare from where I work I can just pop in when they send a message.

So did you leave 24 hours between your last dose Levo and your November blood test?

And did you leave 24 hours between your last dose Levo and your October blood test?

Yeap the only difference was the medication. It’s was mixed between Warcraft and teva. November it was teva. Could it be that.

Also go as early as possible as well when the door is opened

Some people react badly to Teva but I think you would know if you didn't do well on it so I don't think that's got anything to do with it.
