How long do I have to leave between zinc and NDT or can they be taken together? I was advised to take zinc picolinate at night (previously took zinc sulphate). I want to take NDT at bedtime but don't know if I can take zinc at the same time. I've Googled it but couldn't find an answer.
TIA for any advice.

I would treat any thyroid meds the same as Levo for timing of taking supplements or other medication, ie leave at least 2 hours.
You could take your zinc after your evening meal (it's generally said that minerals should be taken in the evening, vitamins in the morning), then you'd still be able to take your NDT at bedtime.
Thanks SeasideSusie, when he said take it at night I assumed he meant bedtime. I've read on here many times about leaving a couple of hours between meds and supplements but don't remember seeing zinc mentioned specifically.
No, I don't think zinc is a common one, or it doesn't get discussed much
I tend to take most of my supplements with food (unless they tell you not to), especially capsules as they tend to get stuck on the way down and eating helps get them down. I'm much better with tablets but so many things come in capsule form.
I couldn't agree more, SeasideSusie. I wish more supplements came in tablet form. Also, MUST they make the capsules so big? Leave out some of the fillers, for gosh sakes. It's hard to fit them all into one of those two-week pill containers (14 containers, each with 4 compartments.)
