Dr. Kharrazian has many fans here and we know he is at Harvard doing research and his study of brain involvement in chronic illness has revealed a lot about the microbiome. We have methods to improve our microbiome with information from his expert guests. It begins tomorrow.

Oh, no, my bad. I meant when it's daylight there anyway. I see now that they are not playing in EST until 9:30 tonight. Try to get some sleep or is it too late now.
I'm so glad. Some of these people are doing the research which can back up their theories. The last few summits have been outstanding. Documentaries like STINK and The Magic Pill on Netflix have also been great.
I watched the first part of Jonathan Otto's Autoimmune Secrets last night, also good although much of it I was already familiar with, but this one (Interconnected) looks like it will be really useful. Don't actually have a TV so these are great for me!
The Truth about Cancer was very good. Some of these are on You Tube as well. Zack Bush is worth hearing. He makes Restore. So good you are educating yourself.
We have to, don't we. I keep stacking up more auto-immune conditions and the more I learn the more I realize that the signs have been there, other illness/unwellness trying to tell me something, just symptom treating at best by doctors, no root causes, no real history taken or understanding of development and I didn't know....wish I had. But not too late, going to keep searching, keep talking about it, improve what I can, try to make family listen and understand too.
In the first episode we learn: Your microbiome is more YOU than YOU. Your genome has less control over your body than the signals from your microbiome which has its own genome in a way.
Your microbiome interacts with your nervous system and your
immune system.
Infants born through the vaginal canal receive the mother's biome since they have none. Who knows what the c-section babies receive.
The female doctor related that she had c-sections for both children but the second one received her biome at birth and while the first child suffered many infections, etc. her second child did not have nearly the same difficulties.
There is a sugar in mother's milk that is specifically to feed the microbiome which contains the good bacteria from the mother.
They know that breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and liver cancer are proven to come from the microbiome.
They have known about inflammation for two thousand years and the inflammatory response is a pattern of redness, swelling, pain and heat. It's the first phenomenon described in medical literature.
Our microbiome harbors bacteria, fungi and parasites.
Human Genomo Project allowed us to understand our genes (epigenetics)
but
The Human Microbiome Project is the next frontier. Understanding and optimizing it will let us know how to improve our health. Now this is INSIDE the lab and will help us in the future.
Episode 2: The Human Microbiome: The Raging Battle Within
If you’re suffering from any kind of illness, especially obesity, headaches, memory loss, and immunity issues, it’s likely your gut holds the key.
Don’t let your doctor throw expensive pills at your pain. Let me (and over 70 experts) share with you you how to turn the corner into natural healing, all by concentrating on your 2nd brain.
We’ll also discuss the rise and rise of autoimmune disease like arthritis, Hashimoto’s, Crohn’s and Celiac disease.
Why has there been such a dramatic upsurge in these diseases?
Episode 4 is now playing. Staying Alive in a Toxic World
Toxins in the food we eat, the water we drink, even the air we breathe. There’s no avoiding them.
But, there IS hope…
Because our microbiomes, the trillions of bacteria residing in our digestive system are also our defense mechanism against toxins and the disease they spread.
All we need to know is how to fortify, strengthen and protect our microbiomes so they can function optimally. If we protect our friends, they help protect us.
Concerned about your kid’s behavior? Are they ADD, difficult, or super hyper? The answer could live in their gut.
In Episode #5: The Kids Aren’t All Right: Leaky Gut - Leaky Brain - Leaky Kids we look at why the gut is often called ‘The Second Brain.’
It turns out, what happens in the gut triggers a reaction in the brain. Feel depressed? Have trouble remembering where you left the keys? It may be down to the gut-brain connection through the vagus nerve. It effects us all- young and old.
Feed your gut the right things and your thinking and brain fog can dramatically improve.
So join me, won’t you? And as always, try and get on the stream early. We’re anticipating another huge turnout.
You’ll also enjoy a segment titled “The Unhealthy Brain.” Amazingly, we’re now finding certain bacteria in the gut can predict Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s years later. It’s fascinating stuff.
If you or someone you know has some type of dementia or neurological dysfunction, you’re going to want to catch this episode.
If you have anxiety or been diagnosed bipolar you will find episode #5 interesting. Keep it in mind for the reboot if you don't have time at the moment.
Tonight’s episode, focusing on the thyroid, obesity and diabetes is going to make this crystal clear for you.
You’re going to find out how you can heal Hashimoto’s Thyroid Disorder… turn an obese body into a lean one… and even reverse diabetes through taking control of your gut’s microbiome. Doctors and patients around the world are experiencing this and you'll see real-life examples tonight.
There is hope.
It’s the most important discovery in medical science for decades and I’m so glad you’re on this journey with me. But enough talk, let’s get to the good stuff:
Tonight we’re looking at how our immune systems… heart disease and cancer are all linked to our microbiomes.
Can we really predict cancer by looking at the microbes in our gut? You’ll be shocked when you watch this episode:
Our immune system starts in our gut lining. You’ll see how inflammation, bacteria and the gut are connected to heart disease… and… you’ll discover the different types of bacteria present in cancerous cells versus healthy cells.
This episode has some shocking information...the most compelling I have heard in the whole year-long journey of making this documentary series.
Could this be the key to unlocking a cure for cancer?
This is another episode you’re not going to want to miss.
