Acerola Cherry recommendations please?

Hi all,

I’m looking at starting to take Vit C with my levo in the mornings to see if it makes a difference to my absorption.

Can anyone recommend a good brand of acerola cherry power or capsules at all please?

I use this one

amazon.co.uk/Acerola-extrac...

That one has 26% Vit C per 100g, the organic one has only 18% Vit C.

You can also order direct from TimeHealth and postage is free however much you spend

Thanks so much SeasideSusie! This one looks like a really good option thank you.

Given the bitter taste, is it bearable in just water to take with levo?

I don't actually find it too bitter but I dissolve it in a little water then add a little orange juice. It can actually go a little clumpy, it doesn't dissolve as well as the ascorbic acid Vit C powder I used to take, but I just swish it round a bit and leave it to stand for a few minutes, then it's usually dissolved by then.

That sounds manageable enough. Thanks again for your recommendation 😊

A bit pricey but I use this whenever I feel a cold coming on. You can get a discount using ThyroidUK too

revital.co.uk/viridian-100-...

healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

My goodness, that is expensive. It seems to be the same as the Timehealth one - organic, from Brazil, Soil Association approved, 18% Vit C. You can get 250g from Timehealth for just £2.14 more than 50g Viridian.

I know! Next time time I need a top up think it will be Timehealth! :)

Oof I think that one might be a touch over budget for me! But thank you for taking the time to reply. I didn’t know about the thyroid UK discount so that may well be very useful in future 😊
