First of all THANK YOU to this incredible community for literally being a lifesaver to so many. My story is too long and complex to go into right now, suffice to say it has ended with me threatening to sue my GPs surgery for negligence and withholding treatment. My GP would not take private and extensive test results ‘because he didn’t understand them,’ in spite of them showing I have a conversion issue. It’s only now after me writing a complaint letter about him effectively trying to force me to take antidepressants ‘because he can’t prescribe T3,’ that they have relented and have booked me in for new blood tests. The thing is- I’ve been self medicating for the last couple of months on the advice of an excellent functional practitioner, initially on 30mg metavive and 50mg Levo. ( I was originally on 100mg Levo.) after a month of feeling much better and monitoring my temp every morning I swapped to 45mg metavive (capsules of 30&15) and using a pill splitter to get as close to 25mg as possible. ( GP has refused to prescribe suitable pills in spite of knowing what I’m doing.) Anyway- all is mostly great but I need to know when I should take my dose prior to the blood test which will be next week at 9.30am? THANK YOU so much in advance for your knowledge... I wish you all continued improved health, and to keep fighting for our rights! Hippocrates would be turning in his grave at the lack of empathy and compassion some of these arrogant doctors are treating us with! X x

Leave off the Levo for 24 hours before the blood draw.
Leave off the Metavive between 8-12 hours before the blood draw.
Thank you so much SeasideSusie sorry to be abit dim- but just so that I go into this in as optimum position as possible- should I therefore take the 25mg Levo no later than say, 8.30am the day before (25hrs before test) and then the metavive at around 11.30pm the night before (10hrs before) even though metavive does contain T4?
