Hi

Could you type in the results or try copying again please. These haven't come out very clear.

It looks as though your TSH is too high and you have raised Thyroid Antibodies but I can't tell for sure. Can't see others.

Was your dose raised to 100mcg after these results or were you already on 100mcg - and if so how long.

If just increased, then wait till next results.

How are you - any symptoms?

Have you been told you have Hashimoto's Autoimmune Thyroiditis?

Is that a very low Vitamin D result?

Has your GP or Endocrinologist started you on Loading Dose of Colecalciferol (D3) ?

Have you shown these results to your GP and /or Consultant yet? Discussed them?

I have had underactive thyroid symtoms since age of 25 argued for 10 years to get treated, they kept telling me i was depressed i refused anti depressants because I knew it was thyroid, all I got was your boarder line that was after hospital visits for suspected heart attack at 27 I have also had a dvt at 22 I think it's linked. Only just found out it was hashimotos and never seen a endocrinologist .as for symtoms I can't remember what normal feels like lol I try to work out about 4 times a week to keep the weight down .

And gp has results waiting for a phone call my results last time ths was 5.72 and they rang and said no further action but I phoned and asked for an increase.

You need an increase or some T3 (which you won't get unless under an agreeable Endocrinologist ).

Do you have Hypothyroid symptoms? If so ask for referal to an Endocrinologist.

I thought your Vitamin D was 12. It's not so in range. No Loading dose needed.

I wouldn't work out - heard it can deplete T3 also it can turn fat to muscle. Gentle exercise only such as walking and / or swimming.

I would insist on a referal to an Endocrinologist and an Ultrasound scan of your Thyroid.

GPs aren't specialists. The "normal " range for TSH applies to "normal" (Euthyroid ) people. Your Endocrinologist should write to your GP with your Target therapeutic TSH level - which would probably be maximum of 2. However I've learned on here that even lower a maximum of one is more desirable. In any case yours is too high.

You have symptoms - so insist on seeing an Endocrinolgist.

Is there anyone you can take with you to see GP (for a bit of moral support) ?

Keep pestering GPs. Take a written list of all your symptoms with you. Take your temperature first thing every morning and if it's low then keep a record and add his to your symptoms. Remember to add 1 if taking underarm - if under tongue then as read.

By the way - have you ever had any test to check your Adrenal function? Ask about this ??

No adrenal function test done .I have a low heart rate though sometimes on my fit bit it says 48 I used to get swollen lymph glands everywhere but that has settled now I don't feel as cold now either my astma is also not as bad .Thanks for advice

Temperature before I started levo ,my family had a ambulance to me for heart attack symptoms they said I was hyperthermic ,never goes above 37 but my hands and feet are not as cold my husband used to complain they were like blocks of ice
