Welcome to our forum. First of all you have to have a proper blood test this will consist of T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. If you have thyroid antibodies you have to be diagnosed regardless of your TSH result.

To be diagnosed you need an early a.m. blood test, fasting (you can drink water) and request the above tests. If you were taking thyroid hormones you'd allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose and test and take afterwards.

If your doctor wont do all of the above you can get those not tested by a private lab.I will give you a link and the labs do home pin-prick tests and make sure you are well-hydrated if you decide to do this.

Always get a print-out of your results with the ranges. Ranges are figures in brackets and without ranges members cannot respond.

Your doctor should also test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. Deficiencies also cause symptoms.

Be wary of green tea's fluoride content.

This article mentions avoiding green tea if TH-2 dominant: drknews.com/hashimotos-hypo...

This one attempts to offer guidance on TH-1 and TH-2 dominance, based on symptoms, but looks akin to astrology to me (due to the amount of overlap), and may be aiming to sell tests:
