Have you had your thyroid tested?

Yes. I have Hashimotos diagnosed in 1998. On Levothyroxine.

Then it's more likely to be your hypo causing the stomach problems. :) Are you adequately medicated?

No. Endo reduced my Levothyroxine by 12.5mcg 4 months ago due to having surpressed TSH. I have argued long and hard to no avail.

Then that's probably the problem. Can you see a different endo? Or self-treat.

Probably not as Ihave already seen two. He said they would not reduce it any more but will not let me put it back to 125mcg a day. Is there anything else which would make up for the gap?

Not having seen your labs, I can't say. But, you can only replace a hormone with a hormone. So, if he's refusing to increase your dose, he's condemning you to a miserable life. Personally, I wouldn't stand for it.

I feel my body hurts more if I eat gluten (accidently as I have been off it for quite a while). Also selenium daily helps. Hope you feel better soon. Stomach issues are common with Hashimotos x

I did wonder about that as I have been virtually Gluten free for almost 2 yrs

it has a massive impact on me, it happened last week, so maybe youve accidently had it. have you tried an elimination diet? or the aip diet to figure out if you are reacting to anything you are eating? x
