MODUCARE??

Has anyone tried Moducare? I have Hashimoto's and take just T4. I have recently taken Moducare and feel so much better. I have lost weight and the swelling I use to feel in my neck around the thyroid has decreased. Im not saying it will help all but may be worth trying.

Just looked it up so just thought I'd put this forward as a possible interaction even though it's retracted. I've never seen or heard of it so asked Dr Google and it seems to be made up with extracts from seeds, fruits berries and plants. Glad you are feeling better using it. May be another endorsement further down the line?

Can I take Moducare® with my other supplements or medications?

There are no known interactions with Moducare® and any natural supplements. There is no conclusive evidence to suggest an interaction with medication. There has been an adverse event report in respect to a blood-thinning drug. An independent toxicology consulting firm assessed the report for our company and concluded that there is insufficient evidence to suggest that the adverse event arose from Moducare® use.

I take moducare with my vitamin d etc but for me it has caused no interaction but I cant speak for you. From what I understand it slightly alters the way the immune system works so helps with the auto immune side of things. I do hope to go for a blood test soon but I can tell from my body and the way I feel that it has helped. Do more research and satisfy yourself about the interaction side of things. For me I wish I had known about this years ago!!!

Thank you for sharing your experience of this....I have never heard of it, but sounds worth investigating! 👍 Did you buy it from the health shop? x

This group has helped me in the past so wanted to give something back. I got it from Amazon. It is a white bottle with a green label. I actually can't believe how well it works! If you start it monitor if you still need the same level of thyroxine via blood tests.

Well I wondered what it was so looked it up and it seems a positive thing but then reading about the scare thought that I should point it out but also it's been given the ok so then anyone can be vigilant in case they are affected.

Do you take this with any other supplements ie Vit D, selenium, b12 etc. Just read up the reviews on it and it seems to have a positive outcome for people

I do take other supplements like you have mentioned but nothing has worked like this. From what I understand it alters the way your immune system works. In my case with Hashimotos it is the immune system attacking the thyroid gland. It has DEFINITELTY changed something to make me feel much better and def less swelling near the thyroid. Wish I had found this years ago!! Do more research on it and see what you think.

I've been taking moducare in the hopes of reducing the Hashimotos antibodies. Haven't had a blood test yet to see if it's helping and haven't noticed any significant changes in how I'm feeling, but I'm so glad to hear it's helping you!

Ah bless you. I really wish it did help you also. Everyone is so different in chemistry so will work for some and not others. Im gonna have a check on my antibodies soon but can tell by the way I feel that it has made a difference. It took about 4-6 weeks before I noticed the change and I was taking four caps a day instead of three and v important you have it on an empty stomach. I have it two hours before eating or 1.5 hours after eating.

Ah. I'm only taking two caps a day and not on an empty stomach. Maybe that's the difference!

Yes it must be on an empty stomach. The bottle says take 3 a day but I took four but have now reduced it as I have it in my system now. It is worth trying on an empty stomach.
