Can someone advise me how easy it is to take blood for the Ultravit check as I see it says it’s venus suggested. I would also be grateful to know what comes with the kit?

Despite the fact I am diabetic and used to using fingerprick blood tests I found it difficult to get blood into the phials ( two for the 11-12 blood tests): my blood started to clog on the top and never run into the phial. 9 fingers and an hour later I gave up , and got a conventional syringe blood draw next day( luckily have an 'in-house' junior doctor). You could try it and see, many find it easy, but be prepared to change if necessary and fill phials via syringe. But you might have to shop around to find someone to draw the blood, and be prepared to pay for service. Medichecks packs come with everything you need: a number of pin prick gadgets, wipes, plasters, phials, instructions, etc.

I found it really easy after initially thinking it would be difficult. I warmed my hands/ fingers and used my little finger.

I was thinking I would have to use my vein as it sounds like to phials of blood

The phials are tiny and you need two. I had a practice before I ordered and after following the video it was really easy so I knew it wouldn’t be a problem 💐

There are lots of BMI Hospitals and you can find your closest one using this link :

To get any private hospital to take blood you have to pay - but I don't know how much.

Look on the Medichecks and Blue Horizon web sites for where the nearest private hospital that they work with is to you .Spire is another

group of private hospitals they use.
