Hi, just been reading about TEVA side effects. Since April this year I have been feeling dreadful. I have constant dizziness, sharp needle pain behin my eye, feeling faint, pins and needs behind my legs and stomach symptoms. Just added 2 and 2 together in time scale as I think it must be the new formulation of my thyroxine. It’s TEVA, just checked number (P.O. number on the side of the box) and it looks like theses should have been recalled in 2012. Anyone else been feeling like me?

Is yours the lactose-free version which says NEW FORMULATION on the box, as in the picture in this thread

Yes it has new formulation on the corner in a black band

So it's not the old formula that was recalled back in 2012. Many people have had severe adverse effects from this new formula Teva.

If your symptoms started when you changed to Teva then fill in a yellow card report and ask for a different brand. There's no difference in price to the NHS.

MHRA must have had thousands of reports by now, one would expect something to be done.

Thank you for your reply. Basically I have felt so ill. My levels changed back in March from taking actvis for years, all ok my levels dipped, felt dreadful, then told overmedicating after three weeks, then down to 100 . Just by chance thought I would google new formulation of my thyroid tablets

Many, many patients have bad reaction to Teva
