Hi All, i've hypo thyroid and got pregnant when my tsh was 3.4. I was on levothyroxine 75mcg but after 8 weeks we had another test and found out tsh is 8.3 and then doctor increased dose to 125mcg.
After reading online, i'm very worried that we harmed our baby. My weight is 45Kg(99.2lbs) and I was very tired and drained out during last 8 weeks. This makes me extremely anxious and not sure how what other test we need to do. Here is USA, doctors are not recommending any test, just suggesting to thyroid medicine.
appreciate any suggestion, recommendation.

I have hypothyroidism and have been TTC with limited success since March. I would suggest to have your HCG levels tested in addition to your thyroid levels. Possibly even your progesterone.
Also, I strongly advice you look into your iron levels. Mine were normal, except the saturation was below normal. My doctor has prescribed iron supplements to help with my chronic fatigue and hair loss.
Good luck! Go to a different doctor if they are not working with you. You are your best advocate.
As your TSH rises it is correct that your dose is increased. These are some links re pregnancy and hope they can be of interest. Your doctor should make sure you are on an optimum dose for you and baby.
When you have blood tests it has always to be at the very earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose of levo and the test and take afterwards.
Always get a print-out of your results with the ranges. Ranges are in brackets after the results.
