Hi All,
I have recently been diagnosed with CFS/ME but I suspect it could be hypothyroidism instead. Can someone please comment on my thyroid test results below?

Your results are euthyroid (normal). TSH is at the low end of the range, FT4 is 47% through range, FT3 is 59% through range. Pretty much where one might expect to see them in a patient who doesn't have thyroid disease.
Have you had the following tested, if not then I would do all of these:
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
I agree with the above, but keep an eye on the Reverse T3 level. Apparently that is often high in patients with ME/CFS.
I was always told that my B12 levels were fine, but benefit dramatically from self-injecting B12 once a month. (I was diagnosed with ME in 1988)
B12 is fine when above 500 - but your GP will say it is fine when just over the bottom of the range. B12 - when below 500 can become a neurological condition - with cognitive decline and many other symptoms that can be mistaken for other serious conditions ... Understanding in the medical profession is poor so read as much as you can and remain informed. the book - Could it Be B12 - is a good start
As the others have said, your thyroid results are euthyroid.
However, your rT3 is creeping up to the top of the range, and that is not due to your FT4, which is mid-range. Therefore, there must be some other problem causing it to rise, and probably causing your CFS-like symptoms.
I would suggest you get your ferritin tested, and if that is low, get an iron panel done. If there's nothing wrong with your ferritin, the next place to look should be your adrenals, and get a 24 hour saliva cortisol test.
But, first off, as others have suggested, get all your nutrients tested : vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin. The answer could very well lie therein.
