(((Angep))) This is tough sh*t and I wish you well. You will find some help looking at other hair loss posts - just type hair loss into the search Thyroid UK box and lots of posts will come up. The biggest challenge for me was accepting mine wasn't coming back, moving forward from that has been a bit hit and miss but I'm there now, with a selection of bonded toppers and a wardrobe of bamboo turbans simplywigs.co.uk/catalogue/... I really wouldn't bother with anything other than bamboo - it loses its colour and bobbles too quickly. IMO unless you want many different looks, a topper will serve most people well. This is my favourite and it now comes in two sizes to accommodate different levels of hair loss simplywigs.co.uk/catalogue/... there's a bigger one somewhere on the site but I'm late to bed and my husband's calling. Get a hairdresser to cut them in for you et voila! Do not make yourself a victim or let your head drop because of this. Thyroidies have other challenges to deal with - this one is sortable whether your loss is temporary or permanent. Feel free to PM although I'm not on the forum much these days - too busy :)

Thankyou for your reply 😁 I shall do as you suggested. I have Crohn’s disease too which is a very aggressive form. I learned a long time ago not to become a victim it dosnt help being one and inevitably holds you back!! I’ve always liked my hair!! Hopefully it will grow back if not you’ve given me lots of food for thought. Thankyou again 😁👌

With me it runs in the family, my mother had problems. Best of luck not easy to live with.

My recent hair loss is hormonal age related I think. I am using i restore products. Hat with laser and LEDs - FDA approved plus tablets, shampoo and scalp lotion. It is too early to say if it is any good and expensive, but I thought it was worth a try.
