Feeling rubbish!

Hi everyone I wondered if any of you ladies with hashis were like me. Unlike a lot with an underactive thyroid my periods are like clockwork..... even at 45 😐. But I’ve noticed a week before I’m actually due that my hormones seem to go haywire which leaves me feeling awful! Fatigue doubles, pain doubles all over, glands in throat swell, and I seem to get oxygen hunger? Does anyone else get this and if so has anyone got any ideas how to combat it?....... in bed as I write this 🙁

Hi xdianex,

I am 41 and have been diagnosed with Hashi for the past 8 years. Just like you, a week before my menses I get similar symptoms but I find that i get muscle cramp/pain in my thighs and bouts of feeling anxious. I struggle with the first day because that's when I am not myself and actually feel crazy. I am yet to discover how to alleviate these issues. Hopefully someone in the group will be able to help us!
