I've recently been diagnosed with interactive thyroid, I'm 46yo male of big build but have always kept reasonably fit, I'm only on 50mcg of thyroxine at the moment. I've recently experienced other issues with elevated blood pressure and problems with my eyes.
I've been given a blood pressure monitor to record morning and evening for 4 days.
Also, I've experienced intermittent blurred vision whilst reading, if I look away and refocus my eyes it goes back to normal for a while but it does return, this in turn causes headaches and a feeling of pressure around the eyes.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?

Hi, I had issues with my eyes for 6 months or so after I started my medication. Had all the checks but nothing found.
Sometimes had really odd shudder in one of my eyes but never had anything obviously wrong with my eyes after checks.
How long before you get your thyroid checked again, could be you’re on too low a dose.
Quite funny really regarding the blood pressure checks as I had to get a machine too but to be honest if you worry about stuff like that it’ll raise anyway.
You will get good advice here so hang in there and hopefully you’ll feel better soon.
Hi, please get your eyes checked by an optician/ophthalmologist.
I have Graves, but am now underactive as I had RAI to destroy the thyroid.
I developed TED, which was successfully treated. However,I also have glaucoma and your symptoms are more typical of what I have experienced with glaucoma. It can make you blind, so it’s worth getting your eyes checked ASAP, if only to be reassured all is actually ok.
