The last post showing in your profile was 19 days ago, then this one. So it looks as though maybe you didn't press the Submit button last evening.

You're welcome to repeat your question but would you mind not using all capital letters, it's considered shouting on a forum and it's very hard on the eyes.

Thank you for your message which is much appreciated. It may indeed be that I did not "press the submit button" which might well be true as it accords well with "my self" at present. Your comment about "not using all capital letters" ... "as it is considered shouting on a forum" is, of course, not OK. I am a quiet wee soul in the main and never ever shout at anyone so I agree that capital letters (like shouting) are not OK either. I will try to repeat my post if I can manage as it was thumped out very swiftly last evening. Thanks for your help and guidance. Take care.

Mary - What a lovely answer - I was a bit uptight and shaky so forgot to press the submit button - how stupid can you be? Take care - Victoria x

We can have 'brain fog' due to lack of thyroid hormones. :)

Sadly, I have just completed a new question and some comments but I was unable to send it to everyone as I think I got a message that there was something my message given a message in red. Anyhow patience is all. Thanks to everyone. The only thing is that I kept a word copy this time round so perhaps I might be able to send the thing as an attachment to an e-mail?? THIS IS ALL VERY REVEALING AS WELL AS BOTHERSOME! Thanks to everyone,

How very strange. Tell you what, copy and paste your question here - as part of this thread. Those of us that see it will respond, I’m sure. If you “like” the replies in this thread when you’ve posted it here, we’ll all get a notification and will come and have a look.

Thanks very much for your reply Jazz. Much appreciated. I re-typed my longish question twice and still got red danger message - so wrong again. Think I must stand bit this evening and try again tomorrow. Brain fog might be the problem so I apologise for any problems I am causing my fellows. Goin to see GP tomorrow and will see hot it goes. This is a brilliant website and full of great people! Take care

No apology needed. I had some problems with red messages yesterday - it wouldn't let me press on the 'like' button for a while. And today the 'reply' button to send didn't work straightaway.

Hope all goes well with GP appoinment tomorrow. I usually write a list of what I want to say, sometimes my mind goes blank when I'm called in! Especially if GP is running very late.

Dear Mary

This website is truly wonderful and I truly appreciate your reply to me. It is helpful to know that you too have had some wee problems with red messages (I have had three now) but (looking back to my secretarial work at the Beatson and now my study with the OU) I can feel a bit more relaxed about things. I am sure the great team who supports this much needed website will help us in this regard.

My husband has just tried to get an appointment for us two but one of our receptionists that (strangely) my own GP who used to work two full days, i.e. on Tuesday and Friday has now changed her time with the practice to two half-days so we now have an appointment at 8.10 on Thursday morning! worked for a wee while in this practice while their own secretary was on maternity leave some time ago so I know how much GP practices are struggling at present.

My own GP will be in the Practice this afternoon so I think I might give all my bumff to one of the receptionists so she can read it all before we next see her. I must apologise to yourself and to the other members of my group for being so helpful and patient with my trials. Take care and God bless all here!

I should add that I am going to join Thyroid UK ASAP. Enough said.

Wee grumpy Victoria (not Queen Victoria)!
