Did you stop the T3 when you started the levo? Not surprising you're feeling bad, then. Why can't you continue with your T3?

OK, well in that case, I doubt the levo is responsible for the way you feel, because you haven't been on it long enough.

However, it is unusual to have a TSH that high on 25 mcg T3. How do you take your T3/T4? Do you take it on an empty stomach, with just a glass of water, and wait at least an hour before eating and drinking anything but water? Do you take any other supplements or medication at the same time as your T3/T4?

Hi take T3 just how Dr Peatfield said ie first thing empty stomach with water then wait 30-60 mins b4 food.Am stunnef TSH so high.Think Adrenals fatigued after bereavement & other stressors.

I can imagine. But what was your FT3 level with that high TSH?

My TSH also went very high on T3 only when I developed Adrenal Insufficiency. When you see your Endo ask for a Cortisol Test. I had all of your symptoms and others besides. Good luck.

Thank you for reply.Someone who k ows what it feels like.Got all questions & test requests ready for Endo but 14th Sept is such a long way off.Did you think you would ever get well?

No I felt like I was dieing, and I nearly did. But you can ask your GP to do a random cortisol blood test - try to get it done about 9am because that is when your Cortisol should be at its highest.
