To attract the right people to answer your question, I suggest you change the title of your thread to something like "Does anyone use Dithyron?", just putting "Underactive" isn't targetting anyone who might be using it and not every member reads every post.

To edit your post, click on the down arrow V underneath your message by the word MORE, make the change to your title, then click EDIT RESPONSE.

Yes, easier to take on holiday as two are the exact I take. And I only use UniPharma T3.

i have just been diagnosed for underactive thyroid. I have heard so much about t4 not working as well as T3 and better to have a combination. As i live in Spain it not available. Did you have any side effects?

Hi Dippi,

No side affects at all. It’s the only brand I get on with.

There’s a difference in T4 and T3. Like aspirin and ibuprofen. Except they replace hormones. T4 needs to convert into T3. If you can’t convert well or at all T4& T3 or T3 or NDT is the usual route. Have you been taking vitamins? Do you take your T4 an hour before food and drink on an empty stomach. What’s your TSH? Can you post your blood test results for us to see. There can be many reasons why T4 isn’t working for you.

Please post your bloods with ranges so we can help you more and maybe add your story to your profile - as the ‘experts’/ longer standing members like to look at your history to help. It’s a bit arduous for them to keep having to ask for history etc.

my TSH says 4.57. i i was told to take my T4 last thing at night. i do take biotin aswell.I uderstand it is early days! but what i dont want to do is keep changing brands, so after a lot of research on line i have ordered Dithyron and would like to use this.

Thank you for your help
