I have requested TFT bloods ahead of an endo appointment and the envelope also says creatinine and V+E. What is V+E please? I know creatinine is involved with thyroid in some way although I’ve never had it done before. Thanks.

I think it is meant to be U + E - urea and electrolytes. It checks kidney function and the balance of Electrolytes (potassium, sodium, etc).

Ha ha, yes they take lessons "illegibility" and they don't get their medical degree unless they have passed that test first :D

Creatinine is also testing how well your kidneys are working.
