Here lately I’ve been experienced leg and foot cramps. My arms get tingly when above head. Every time I sit on commode my legs go to sleep. Is this related to the removal of thyroid or not

Leg cramps
Most people when their arms are raised get 'tingly' and I assume because blood is trying to get up to fingers.
Maybe there's also pressure put upon your the thighs when on the commode causing symptoms.
I don't think it is 'thyroid' connected.
These are some ideas you may like to consider.
Have you tried taking magnesium? That's very good for cramps, and you are more than likely deficient.
How long ago did you get your thyroid removed? Is it quite recent?
Sometimes one or more of the parathyroid glands are removed with the thyroid. Surgeons do try and avoid it, but they don't always succeed. Losing these glands affects the body's control of calcium, and this can cause cramp. You would need to get your levels of calcium tested with a blood test.
If your thyroid was removed ages ago then your calcium problem would most likely have arisen by now if it was going to.
Your cramps and tingly feelings could be caused by other things. I agree with greygoose about the Magnesium. Testing for low magnesium is not reliable, and so most people just try it and see how they feel. There are lots of different ways of supplementing magnesium - you can take it in pill form, in powder in water, in a spray for the skin, or soak in it in the bath (in the form of Epsom salts). See the following links on the subject and decide which one appeals to you.

Other things that can have the same or similar effects are low iron and low potassium. Both of these things would have to be tested before taking any supplements because taking them when they aren't needed is really not a good idea.
