Is anyone able to elaborate?
Are kidney stones related to hypo or hyper thyroid states? Or neither?
I’m due to see someone for possible kidney stones on one side.
I’m just looking to see if there is a link.

How's your vitamin D ? Low? Supplementing or not?
And also have you had folate, ferritin and B12 tested recently as well
Do you have Hashimoto's?
Can see from other posts that you are on T3
Can you add recent Thyroid results and say what dose you are taking
Hi Slow dragon.
My dosage is 125 mcgs levo + 20 mcgs T3
Latest bloods were -
TSH - 0.01
FT4 - 19. (12-22)
FT3. - 5.9 (3.1-6.8)
I have secondary / central hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s.
My Vitamin D was low ( 26) at the beginning of the year so my endo put me on 21,000 iu’s once a week.
Folate, ferritin, b12 haven’t been tested this year. I usually do them annually.
Any thoughts....
You need to retest vitamin D
That’s not a high dose of vitamin D and presumably a tablet?
Vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function
Also look at importance of magnesium when supplementing vitamin D

and vitamin K2 as well

Calcium naturally rises as vitamin D levels improve
You need calcium and parathyroid PTH tested alongside vitamin D
It’s extremely difficult to get PTH tested privately as it’s a time sensitive test
If GP unhelpful
Vitamindtest.org.uk £29 postal kit
Or retest vitamin D along with folate, ferritin and B12 via Medichecks or Blue Horizon
