Hi all.

I have been diagnosed with two kidney stones In my left kidney I would appreciate any advice.

I am aware there is such a medical procedure where vibration is used.

Is there any natural remedies?

Most grateful for any advice.

Thank you

Do the lithotrypsy and find out what the stones are made of. Then either the medical staff will tell you what it is you should do to prevent future stones or some back here.

Hi, I have read in a number of places that magnesium is good to protect against kidney stones. Probably ineffective against existing ones, but might be a good idea to look into this for prevention in future.

I think I read that kidney stones are often secreted calcium. Attempting to alkalinise the diet may help them to pass or dissolve. Drink lemon juice in water without the sugar if you can manage it.

And if you drink fizzy drinks, STOP.

my eldest son has a duplex kidney system He regularly has to have kidney stones removed usually by keyhole surgery. He is in and out in 24hours and back at work within a week, they have never offered him an alternative
