How to take T3

Do I need to take T3 an hour before food?

Or can I take it with food?

Always take any thyroid hormones on an empty stomach. We usually find that taking it when we get up, with one full glass of water suits most people.

Or you can take it at bedtime with one full glass of water. As long as your stomach is empty. If you have eaten a full meal before allow about 2 to 3 hours gap as usually our digestion is slow.

Food interferes with the uptake of thyroid hormones..

I omitted to say that we have to allow an hour's gap after taking it before we eat
