How to take 25 T3 day before test

Am usually taking 15mcg at 7am and another 10 mcg at noon. Am having tests done Wednesday 7.30 am. How shall I take my T3 tomorrow? As usual or the 10 mcg in the evening?

15mcg at 7am Tues and 10mcg Tuesday night between 8pm and 11pm sometime.

The easiest thing to do is keep your split as it is, just take your second dose 8-12 hours before the time you are doing the test. So if you are having your test at 9am on Wednesday, take your second dose between 9pm and midnight tomorrow. If you also take Levo, then last dose should be 24 hours before test.

Would it be even better to split second dose into two? So take 5@13 and 5@7pm

Entirely up to you. I normally take T3 in 2 doses, second dose around 5pm. I don't split my second dose, just move it to nearer bedtime.

Hi Clara9,

I usually take half a T3 tablet when I get up and all of the thyroxine, and half T3 at lunch time (as prescribed by my Endo 20 years ago!)

If I am having a blood test I don't usually take any meds until after the test. Then I take half a T3 tablet and all of the thyroxine when I get home and the other half of T3 say middle of the afternoon or teatime.

Sorry forgot to mention the dose - 75mcg thyroxine and 20mcg T3.
