Thought I should give some more information as I am new. I have been on Levothyroxine since 2010 (75mcg). My 2016 TSH level was 2.1 miu/L range (0.2 - 5.5) and my 2018 TSH level was 0.7 miu/L range (0.20 - 5.50 miu/L) - no other thyroid hormones were tested.

I have ordered a Medichecks FT4/FT3/TSH kit for a better understanding.

Thought I might try a tiny amount of 6mg T3 for the first 2 weeks, and add on the same amount after another 2 weeks etc - just to try and get myself out of bed - usually sleep 14 hours and have to nap after anything such as food shopping etc. Also I ache like I have flu but I know I dont, as it comes and goes, GP says probably ME type of thing.

Will probably order the full vitamin/d3 test in the next few days.

You really need to do a full thyroid panel plus vitamins and minerals before doing anything about T3. You shouldn't take T3 unless you know you need it.

Best value is Medichecks Thyroid Ultravit or Blue Horizon Thyroid Check plus Eleven. I would ring Medichecks tomorrow and see if you can change your order, the Ultravit will be cheaper than doing the thyroid and vitamins separately.

Post results, including reference ranges, when yiu have them and members will help.
