I did mine with I-screen
Thanks Anna,
This is great. There's a collection place up the road from me. I have emailed them as I do have information to give them about my diagnosed adrenal disease. Wonderful! How was your experience with them?
Actually you don’t need to go to collection centre. It’s all done by post. You receivea parcel with 4 tubes to be filled with samples and a pre-paid postage envelope so it was as easy as just dropping it off at the post. I got the results back in few days. It was super easy! I’m considering doing sex hormones with them too as slowly starting to plan for a baby
Let me know how you get on! Do you mind sharing how and where did you get diagnosed? I’ve had some really bad experiences with doctors lately and would be great to know a good specialist or someone who you know, “gets it”
Hi Anna,
Oh good luck with the pregnancy, I love to hear that women are having babies. I'm a sucker for them. Thanks for that information. Too easy. Yes I'll let you know how I get on. I haven't been diagnosed with it, I am seeing my Endo Thursday so will run it by him. He's very open to anything. I just think I have it because of the last 6 years being stressful to the point of breakdown. (I do think I was hyperthyroid for years). I was diagnosed with Primary Aldosteronism 3 years ago. I had a TT 18 months ago. I'm also in Brisbane are you? Because I can exchange Endo's details etc. I don't know how to personal message yet, but I think admin likes us to keep names out of the thread. However my Endo is on the recommend list for Australian Doctors. Yes my GP didn't get it. She's not trained in that area. I hope my Endo is.
I’m in Sydney so I’ll have to carry on looking for someone around here. It’s just I had experiences of paying $400 for an Endo visit and being told the “you’re fine, your results are fine” when I feel like death and yes they might be in range but definitely not optimal... it’s infuriating! Thinking “wow I just paid $400 for that”
I hope you get better soon! You’re so lucky to have an Endo willing to work with you! Fingers crossed you get to the bottom of it. Adrenal issues can very much be the reason, very common with thyroid sufferers although I’m a lucky one who’s ok I guess. I-screen showed mild issue which I have read that can be easily fixed at such early stage.
