I went to see the endo today I hadn't seen him before and was quite hopeful as he seemed different to other endos I have seen but bottom line is he will not put my dose back to 125 of Levothyroxine. It has been reduced to112.5 as my GP said I am over medicated. The endo said
he would write to my GP and tell them my dose was not to be reduced any further but I was to stay on 112.5 even though feel worse.
He said all my bloods are normal and he thinks things will settle down in another 3 months when my body has adjusted to lower dose.
Could you look at my bloods for me. Thank you

No what you need is blood tests to check your levels 🙂 Your b12 isn't bad but would be better nearer 900 or even 1000. A good multi b with folate not folic acid but folate would be a good idea but you need to know your folate levels and ferritin, better still iron status blood test. Never start iron without checking levels first. What is your vit d level? 1000 is a reasonable maintenance dose if levels good but would need higher to raise it if it's low... Seen people on here with awful low vit d who have been taking 800 for years😐
You've chopped off the end of ranges from your photo but you do have a conversion problem with ft4 at top of range ? I assume, and ft3 low in range
Vitamin D test via vitamindtest.org.uk if GP won't
With Hashimoto's low vitamin D is extremely common and very often just 1000iu is inadequate dose
You won't know what f you don't test
Folate - you could just supplement a good quality vitamin B complex, one with folate in, but best to test first
Are you on strictly gluten free diet as you have Hashimoto's
About 90% of all primary hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's
Hashimoto's affects the gut and leads to low stomach acid and then low vitamin levels
Low vitamin levels affect Thyroid hormone working
Poor gut function can lead leaky gut (literally holes in gut wall) this can cause food intolerances. Most common by far is gluten.
According to Izabella Wentz the Thyroid Pharmacist approx 5% with Hashimoto's are coeliac, but over 80% find gluten free diet helps significantly. Either due to direct gluten intolerance (no test available) or due to leaky gut and gluten causing molecular mimicry (see Amy Myers link)
Changing to a strictly gluten free diet may help reduce symptoms, help gut heal and slowly lower TPO antibodies
Ideally ask GP for coeliac blood test first plus ask then to test vitamin D and folate
Suggest you do full Thyroid and vitamin tests privately 6-8 weeks after getting vitamin D optimal and going strictly gluten free (if not already GF)
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. If on Levothyroxine, don't take in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
Can you give us the full ranges, please, because we only have the first number, on there. The second number has been cut off.
Even so, seems to me that your problem is not that you are over-medicated, although your FT4 is quite high. But that you have a conversion problem. Endos and GPs know nothing about conversion problems. But, what you want is another reduction in levo, but some T3 added to it.
Did they really over-medicate you? That's rather rare! Or did they reduce your levo too much when they added the T3 and leave you under-medicated? That's often what they do. Then they can say, well, you tried T3 and it made you worse, so we won't give you T3 anymore! They're a sneaky bunch of so-and-sos!
No was overmedicated. Then they stopped everything for a short while and gradually re introduced the T4. I have never felt so ill. I had been telling them it was that I was going hyper but they said it wasn't that. I saw a private Doctor and straight away he said my body was overloaded with T3. After this I don't have a lot of trust in my GP. They do not listen
They rarely do all the right tests. That's why so many people do private tests. But, you are legally entitled to copies, no matter what they might say. They are YOUR results.
You look as though you are not converting well, so probably needed over range free t4 in order to convert enough free T3 (which you are now not doing). I'd give up and buy some T3.
Thanks but I had a bad experience with T3 because my GP overmedicated me. Unusual I know but I was very ill and they wouldn't believe it was that so I had to go private.
But cod liver oil contains vit A which you probably don't want (as most western countries have more vit A toxicity than deficiency), and anything high up in the food chain (like a big fish) tends to have more mercury in it. Sunshine is the best (when we have any). And don't forget the K2.
