Please my ESR is 85 is it because of my poly nodules on thyroid

Hi Raoudha. Can you provide more information? ESR (or erythrocyte sedimentation rate, or SED rate) is an inflammatory marker. It measures general inflammation. It is not exclusive to any particular disease or to any organ.

You have not included the laboratory reference range, so it is not known if a number of 85 is high or not. Every country has different lab ranges. Where I am at, 85 would be very high.

I am not sure what a "poly" thyroid nodule is. Can you please explain what you mean? Have you had a thyroid ultrasound? Thyroid nodules usually indicate thyroid disease. Thyroid disease usually requires thyroid medication. Are you on thyroid medication? What are your current TSH, FT3 and FT4?

I me 65 female with thyroïdites 6 nodules on ultra sound scan and inflammatory on my right carotide(ganglion in French) after 3 months on levo 25 nodules are the same but thyroid is enlarged

Ime also on 100mg of aspegic because of some blocage on my coronaires

Seen by angiogram my Lpa is high 252 nmo/l ( ref 75)

My cholesterol is in normal range

CRP 3.3 (6)

ESR85. (>30)

I had always high ESR but nobody now why

Many clue from there, ,?
