Waiting time ?

I’ve just posted off my medicheck tests, just wondering when to expect results ?

Did you post them standard first class? Or Special Delivery by 1pm Next Day? Did you ask for doctor's comments?

IF they arrive tomorrow morning and you didn't ask for doctor's comments then you may get your results either late tomorrow or Friday.

If they don't arrive tomorrow, and if you did ask for doctor's comments, then possibly Friday/Monday.

They went first class,

I think I may be a bit dumb as I didn’t realise I had to ask for doctors comments ☹️

For future tests send guaranteed next day delivery as they advise on the website, you really can't trust 1st class.

I think there's a box to tick for doctor's comments.Their doctor's comments aren't really worth it, they toe the same line as most GPs because they are NHS trained. It's quicker to receive your results without their doctor's comments, then post them on the forum for "proper" interpretation!

And I agree with Bantam, I always use Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm. It costs about £6.40. If it works it does arrive the next morning. I've had a 50% failure rate with it but you can claim the cost back if Track & Trace shows it arrived later than guaranteed and you have kept your receipt as proof. It has to be handed over the Post Office Counter and you get a receipt.

The Drs comments I got this time were actually fairly sensible, he wasn't really bothered about my very very low TSH 🙂

I sent mine Monday of last week, guaranteed next day delivery and got the results on the Weds afternoon.

And I sent my last lot by ordinary 1st class post on a Monday and got the results on Weds afternoon.

I’m slightly concerned my test kit hasn’t arrived at lab, posted early Wednesday, still no results !

Mind you I didn’t send it registered post, just 1st class
