I wrote this poem to a doctor who was very rude to me about my weight and thought I would share.
FAT AS BUDDHA
I sit solid as a mountain
Fat as a laughing Buddha
As sexy as a large black man wearing leather on a throbbing motorbike.
I am not ashamed
And you will never shame me
I am an ancient soul
Older and glowing with a womans strength
You are but a child so when we meet
It is for you to listen
And for me to teach
You have no thoughts
That I have not already explored
So be your clumsy bumptious self
With others your age
When you are with me
Be still.
