TSH .0028 acceptable?

I am in the US and do not have insurance.

I go to the local health department and see a nurse practitioner.

The ONLY thyroid test they do is TSH.

I went because I had a huge bruise on one thigh and a few smaller ones on the other so I wanted my iron (was 29) checked.

The nurse called today to say everything looks good but that my TSH is to low and I’m supposed to lower my dose (from 100 Levo to 75 Levo).

TSH April 2018 is .0028

TSH August 2017 was 26

I was taking Levo but feeling horrible I had the blood draw because I started Thyroid-S and wanted a new starting point. I started feeling better after a few months and never bother getting a new draw since I don’t have much extra to spend.

I take 2 grains of Thyroid-S a day. I am still fatigued on some days but much better (not all day every day) than before. I’d actually thought about adding a bit more.

A TSH of .0028 is ok right? I don’t really need to lower it?

Without knowing whether FT4 and FT3 are in range it is not possible to say if you are over medicated although medics going just on TSH will say you are.
