Been on thiroid now from Thailand for about 3-4 weeks and I'm noticing my skin is a much better shade than the grey I have had for years also it actually looked shinny after a shower, it normally feels like a sponge soaking up all the water. Anyone else seen an improvement whilst on Thiroid?

Thiroid
its very early days yet but glad you can feel some improvement. Don't rush to get your levels up too quickly though but take it steady. I took a different one from Thailand and because I was told to increase in half grains up to 2 then increase more slowly in quarters I'd missed my sweet spot which turned out to be 1.75. Endo hit the nail on the head and told me to drop back to 1.75 and I was surprised to find he was right!
Thiroid has worked well for me. I've been on it for a couple of years now. I just wish that it came in 30 mg tablets as it would be easier to fine tune the dose.
My levels with thyroid s 2 grains and 50 Levo were within the ranges about the middle, I have changed now and take 3 grains 1 day and 2 the next, so get tests done again in few weeks
What is thiroid please?
When on NDT you can increase by 1/4 tablet every two weeks but always take note of your symptoms pulse/temp and if either goes too high drop to pevious dose.
I'm glad you found an improvement in 3 or 4 weeks.
I have noticed I've had a few bad headaches but I haven't been taking my folic acid (ran out doc told me to take it for 3 months only done 1) which is low so I don't know if it's that?
Did your doctor test your B12 level before he prescribed folic acid?
Yes b12 375ng/l (181-910) low vit d. 33nmol. (75-150)
I have a low sodium but only in range because I eat loads of the stuff 137nmol (133-146)
Did your doctor, before prescribing folic acid, not check if you had a B12 deficiency?
Did he not suggest you increase your B12 first as it is recommended on this forum that it should be nearer the top of the range. Taking folic acid before ensuring you don't have a B12 deficiency may skew results if you were checked for pernicious anaemia.

(I am not medically qualified but have P.A. detected long before I had any symptoms).
Just read symptoms I have quite a few of them, but if I'm in range they won't give me injections! Not even Endo is bothered I went the other day he didn't say anything 😡
My doc did all the tests at the same time and the ones that were out of range come up at the side like this '!' Then that's what he treats me for nothing else
