Post-thyroidectomy and on T3-only
Hi, I was on t3 only following tt for 3 months, I thought I was doing really well on it ,but reality was speed somewhat compared to a sloth, every daily action like taking a shower or getting breakfast took a ridiculous amount of time . Along with physical speed issues for the first time in my life I experienced anxiety and I can tell you now I admire those whose suffer with this every day as it was horrific, waves of emotion you can not control , once I had a plan for my already back up plan just in case things should not run smoothly I was much better. I was switched to t4 and spent 2 yrs trying to get dosage right I had reverse side effects my oncologist has finally settled me on combination of t3/t4 and I function, it’s not great or with out hiccups as “I am of that age when I should expect hormone disruption “ drs words.
