For Grannydoug... And anybody else who responds to the emotional boost from a fantastic landscape!

The massive guardians who have stood, frozen in time for so long; these beautiful stones remind me of continuity...the mental and physical strength expended by so called primitive people to create something so huge and powerful that has lasted this long.. They remind you to persist and you never give up, never say die!

Poppy_the_cat,

If you want to attract grannydoug 's attention it is best to 'tag' her in the text (it won't work in the title).

Demo how to 'tag': support.healthunlocked.com/...

Oh how true. In my bleakest moments in the past it has been the healing, unconditional power of the natural world that has kept me going. I always call it 'taking a Big Sky moment'. 💕

It has be proven that 'beautiful landscapes' make a difference to us as they do indeed have a healing power. I can remember reading a few years back an excellent article in the New Scientist explaining the positive energy it generates within us.

Some unbelievers will assume this is hocus-pocus, but it's finally be proven not to be so!

Connect with yourself, enjoy a landscape, even if it's a painting, or an epic photograph... The 19thC American artists of the Mid West painted some incredible panoramas!

Enjoy and 'breathe in' the magnificence!

Like the Ancient Greeks told us a 'healthy mind in a healthy body!'

Enjoy above all.
