I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in August 2017. Started taking levothyroxine and was told by my endocrinologist that I should get my period back. Went to see a fertility specialist in January 2018 and was told I have gone through menopause and can no longer conceive. So which should I believe? Any hope for me?

You need to do plethora of tests and in particular egg reserve to know for 100% you went through menopause.
Though hashimoto often induces early menopause it doesn't mean you already went through one.
Them saying one thing without doing thorough test doesn't mean a thing.
Adoptlove10,
Hypothyroidism can cause temporary infertility but once thyroid levels are normal menstrual cycle usually returns to normal.
You could ask for a second opinion on whether the tests you have had confirm early menopause.
