Heart racing when go to sleep

when i go to sleep my heart start pounding. I am taking eltroxin 100 ug since 7 years and recently detected DM type-2. I am 86 KG with 165 cm height.

Sometimes 'pounding heart' can be due to over or under dosing.

You need a new blood test and a Full Thyroid Test if possible. TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies (if you've not had antibodies tested previously). As you've been taking 100 Eltroxin for 7 years, maybe you need an adjustment.

High blood sugar may cause the heart to race. If you have been diagnosed as diabetic then getting your blood sugar levels under control may fix your heart issue. You would need to join a diabetes forum to get the best advice on that though.
