I take 1 1/2 nature throid a day.

TSH 9.1

fT3 3.43

fT4 8.9

Feeling cold and lacking energy.

If I take more meds I get palpitations and constipated . Any ideas ?

Gp appointment next week.

Meme, you are very undermedicated.

Have you tried adding some Levothyroxine to NDT if you can't tolerate more NDT?

Ask GP to check ferritin and iron. Low iron/ferritin is often why people find it difficult to tolerate dose increases.

Seeing GP next week, will get iron etc taken after seeing him.

I do not take any other meds. Will requests vit tests as not been done for over a year.

I use stainless steel cookware with no coatings.

I am almost vegetarian now I eat fish once a week and meat very occasionally . And vegan meals a couple of times a week. Everything is home made. Almost dairy free apart from a tablespoon of yoghurt with my homemade musili and a little cheese sometimes. I am not gluten free.

Water has fluoride in it.

Not worked with chemicals or heavy metal in air.

I only take D and a multi vit.
