Aching joints and muscles does anyone know what... - Thyroid UK
Aching joints and muscles does anyone know what can ease the pain.
Your last post was only three weeks ago - it can take months for vitamins and minerals to work in the body. Again it is very individual. I was diagnosed back in 2005 with Hashimotos and still have horrid aches and pains - however much improved ....
Having done an Eating Plan throughout January I found they mostly disappeared I think the foods we eat can cause so many problems within.
Are you Gluten Free - or Dairy Free ? I have been GF for quite some time but now feel that dairy is more of a problem
Rome wasn't built in a day !!
We eat a very healthy diet, but admit I am not very patient ,I must try harder,I am so fed up feeling pain.
I must be more patient.

Are you still taking Setraline ? - above in the link are the side effects
Breena there is no history in your Profile, only your name. I looked at a couple of past posts and note you are hypothyroid.
Aching joints/muscle pain are common clinical symptoms. As your dose of levothyroxine is increased hopefully your symptoms will resolve. These are some clinical symptoms:

Be mindful that nowadays few doctors know any clinical symptoms and are apt to give us 'another' prescription for the symptom rather than increasing the dose of levo or whatever thyroid hormones we are prescribed.
Thanks I am underactive and thought I was hyper?
That's o.k many of us don't know much when first diagnosed.
When I was diagnosed I had to find out what was hypothyroidism. Pity the doctors/specialists I saw hadn't a clue either as none diagnosed me or took a blood test.
I had to Do It Myself and when GP phoned to tell me I was hypo, she also asked 'who gave you the blood test form'. I said I did!!!!
Hey there, at some point, while I was on T4 alone (and probably at cellular level deprived of T3) I've started feeling joint pain (especially ankles and fingers) After testing for horrible diseases to find I have none, I only found bit D3 to be deficient and started to supplement (I used Solgar 2200mcg, 2 times a day for a few months and then only one pill) and after about 4-6 weeks symptoms subsided. That was 2-3 years ago, I'm still good and I'm continuing with 1*2200mcg D3/day
I have had bone, joint and muscle pain when hyperthyroid and also with anti thyroid drug induced hypothyroidism.
At one point, before thyroid diagnosis I thought the pain was from possible fibromyalgia.
