Amoxicillan and carbimazole

Hi all i have got a nasty uti at the moment and gp has given me antibiotics Amoxicillan, i did check about taking them with iron which he suggested 2 hours away from one another but not my carbimazole 2.5mgs which i take around 8.30am, would you leave antibiotic 2hr after carbi or just one hour? 🌟🌟

I'm surprised your GP didn't tell you to stop taking Carbimazole until the infection cleared.

Just rang pharmacist he said it is ok to take with carbi as it is only a 7 day course and only 2.5mgs.

Yes you are right i am now more hypo thats why the titration of carbi. I am going to ring the pharmacist now.x

Hi Michelle have you tried waterfall de manose I've taken it for years as having low thyroid I'm prone to uti antibiotics only helped for a short time then I was back to more uti till my sister told me about it she has had uti for most of her life but they couldn't find anything wrong with hr bladder but still got infections but since getting waterfall de mannose she been fine, you get it from sweet cures in York its a bit expensive but it works for me hope you get better soon x

Hi there, i normally get one or two a year when i have not drunk enough, like recentley i have just got over a virus and never drunk enough fluids, i am going to google your suggestion now, thankyou for that, i would rather pay abit more especially if it works.xx thankyou.😊😊
