Hi,

Yes, I do experience the above symptoms but with hypothyroidism.

Have your viatmin levels also been checked? as I also have vitamin D deficency which can cause the above symptoms and affect the absorption of your medication.

Hi,

Yes, sorry I am Hypo with so many awful symptoms. Terrible ear pains, voice changing with pains in the throat, difficulty swallowing with terrible coughing fits, which take my breathe away. Insomnia and complete loss of appetite. Taking 75 of Levo and vitimin D.

Going for a brain scan to see how my pituitary gland is working, also scan and ultrasound on my throat and Thyroid. Absolutely dreading all of it. My GP just rushes me, just by either increasing or decreasing my meds and not giving me time that I need to tell him how I am really feeling. . I am in a very bad place at the moment physically and mentally.

Thank you for the reply

Take care

I am in my first stages too, it is hard I think our brains/body has a lot of recovering to do from having to work so hard after us becoming ill.

I am currently taking vitamin D with vitamin K in spray form as I have heard it is better absorbed.

I hope you feel better soon, we can get through this, just keep reminding yourself it is just your body recovering and it needs to.go through this phase.

aks for referal to thhyroid specialist as the GP doctors are not expert on thyroid problems. or ask your gp to refer you to a private doctor if nhs can not do this. that is how i did

Hi, sorry for the confusion, yes I am Hypo and feeling so ill. Got to have a brain scan to rule out any problems with the pituitary gland, also scan and ultrasound for the voice changes. I have never felt so ill in all my life. Hair falling out and eyebrows very sparse. the ear pains are unbearable. My appetite has gone completely and have lost a lot of weight. I am dreading going for the scans, but I must get sorted and hopefully start feeling well again.

Hope you are not suffering too much, its such an awful disease

Take care

Bubbtetley.
