Fox123,

All of your results are within range so they are normal and exclude Addison's and Cushing's diseases.

Thanks Clutter. Should we not be at the top/bottom of the range though to be optimal as with our thyroid levels? Would I be ok to supplement now I actually know I am low? The STTM book goes on about how you’ll never be able to tolerate the correct dose of NDT until adrenal problems are sorted. I feel better since I’ve been on NDT (12 months now) but I don’t feel that I’m optimal yet. I’d like to raise my dose from 2.5 grains but whenever I do, I get heart palpitations quite badly. I do feel I need a higher dose though. Sorry to go on and I really do appreciate your help and advice.

Fox123,

I don't know much about cortisol. I can see your results are within range but I'm not aware that there are optimal areas of the ranges. Perhaps you should repost your question and change the title to "Do these cortisol saliva results need supplementing?"

If you post your recent thyroid results and ranges on 2.5 grains I'll tell you whether you are optimally dosed or not.

I thought it was optimal levels of ferritin/iron that were required for thyroid meds to be tolerated?
