I am on 30 mg Armour since Jan, had to switch to NP for a while as Armour was not available, out of stock, I was on Armour for a year prior to that. I am been having large pimples on my face and sty since I switched back to Armour, blood work is fine. Does anyone else have this problem? I am female Senior in golden years!

Hi Suzi24,I'm a golden oldie as well with the same problem, quite embarrassing having these really angry spots at our age.I don't have any answers I'm afraid,I have had them with every NDT I've been on,I go for ages then suddenly have an outbreak again.Last time I had an horrendous one on my shoulder & had to see a gp to get it lanced,it lasted for weeks.Sorry can't help with answers but answered your post so that you know someone else in your age bracket has the same issue.

To help get rid of the stye and keep it away you could follow the advice given in this video :

youtube.com/watch?v=gBgqZsd...

I had a repeated sore on my eyelid which eventually became a full-blown large stye. I did what was suggested in this video for a week or two, the inflamed gland(s) in my eyelid discharged and the problem hasn't returned.

Now the stye problem is gone I don't need to keep the treatment up every day. I just do it when my eyes start to feel sore and dry.

For the acne problem, I used to get spots too, but improving my vitamin B12 levels helped a lot. Unfortunately, taking the B12 made the problem worse for a few weeks, which was very unpleasant, before it started getting better. But the eventual improvement in my complexion was amazing, and well worth the first few weeks of being worse.

Edit : If the video above doesn't play properly, it is from youtube and is entitled :

"How to treat MGD, Blepharitis and Dry Eye with Dr Hilary Jones" and the video owner is "The Body Doctor".

Edit 2 : I'm not working on commission! :D

I was told when I had styes in my younger days that it was a lack of B vitamins. Might be worth trying some, it won't do any harm.

I had literally dozens of styes when growing up. I was give (Golden Eye ointment). This was over 50/60 years ago. I never get spots and the styes went in my teenage years. Sorry can't help you. You could get you vitamins and minerals tested and find out, maybe?

I do know that I was never allowed to uncover my arms in the Sun and have since found out it was severe lack of Vitamin D that causes various problems later in life.

Suzi24 your an inspiration for us all. Medications can cause many symptom . I had from T4 fillers . Patients are complaining about Armour since it was reformulated and Erfa Too . I'm hearing that Nature-Throid by RLC patients are having symptoms they never had before with Nature-throid . It's very possible that the fillers are causing you your symptoms . NP has corn starch as one of the fillers . Are you perhaps allergic to it ?
