Hi all, diagonised with postpartum hypo. I am due for surgery since its multinodular and affecting my trachea. Currently on Levo 100mg and reacted badly with rough tight facial skin, muscle crumbs, menstrual flow for over 2weeks, tiredness, mood swings. Decided to stop due the bleeding and tiredness. Have been taking for 2 weeks due for surgery after another set of tests any risk on stopping?

Fridah,
You should resume 100mcg Levothyroxine. If your TSH is too high your surgery will be postponed. Your thyroid gland is severely underperforming for you to require 100mcg. Dose will probably need to be increased post thyroidectomy.
Which make of Levothyroxine are you taking?
