I am currently taking an unusual mixture of meds

I am taking 150mg of thyrogold and 50ug of T3. I find the thyrogold is really good for my neurological symptoms such as vertigo and memory issues but I tend to gain rather than lose weight on it. So I have recently started to take T3 x 2 25ug tabs on a morning as well.. Not sure if it is helping yet and also wondering how much T3 I could take with out problems. Not sure if 50ug is a large dose or tiny amount. I feel fine on it and it does not seem to be doing any harm.My pulse is around 90 and I feel energetic. I have not had any of my usual hypoglycemic attacks since taking either.

50mcg T3 is equivalent to 150mcg T4. 150mg ThyroGold is equivalent to 87.5mcg T4. It's advisable to keep FT3 within range so you might want to have a blood test in a few weeks to check.

Thanks Clutter. I am taking quite a lot then so will get it checked in a few weeks as you suggest.

I agree ad check would be good. The more unusual the combination, the more it's good to draw a line in the sand and see exactly what your results are.
