My foot has swollen up just above my toes and feels bruised but I have not injured it . Could it be linked to Levothyroxine?

I have just googled this but nothing seems to fit the symptoms entirely. I get swollen feet sometimes usually because I need to increase my thyroid hormones. Is the skin red where it is swollen. I also wondered about a possible small blood clot. I have not come across anyone with similar issues on this forum before. I would imagine if linked to levo it would affect both feet. Is it possible you have injured it with out realising.

Yes it is slightly red and feels warm . God knows if I have injuried it I just don’t know . It seems to be going down a little bit . Thank you
Lorriejoan,
I think it is unlikely. If the swelling isn't subsiding tomorrow you should see your GP.
Yes I will do . Am just keeping an eye on it . Thank you
Lorriejoan. If you can find a felt tip pen or one that will mark the skin draw around the red area to see if it is spreading. It sounds like cellulitis. You also need to see a doctor tommorow as clutter said. cellulitis an make you quite ill if left untreated.
