Found a really useful dosage chart on the Pinterest app. Search for Levo side effects.

Lots of other good information relating to medications.

Thank you Karen154 for posting this, I found it massively helpful on understanding T4, T3 and reasons for not losing weight. The writer has a great way of explaining things clearly

Did you down load the app. I was using it for something else. Search thyroid and got lots of information.

It's called side effects of levothyroxine. Explains about T3,T4 other forms of thyroid medicine and the dose charge is on it.

The chart is half way down the article.

Try Google Search. It's by Dr. Child's. Side effects of levothyroxine.

If your considering T3 it's a very good read.

Karen154,

Rather than using the ghastly site you mention (which is trying to force us all to join up if we want to find any images on the web), how about RLC's chart?

I just thought the info would be helpful. It was a good right up. Lots of people struggle with dosage.

Lol quite enjoy the app. Lots of home ideas and food ideas.

Karen154,

I wasn't criticising you - but that site is making it ever more difficult to locate any images by dominating all image search. And when you try to view an image, it uses every trick it knows to stop you seeing more than a teaser.

Oh right. I haven't experienced that.

I found Google tends to pop up on it a bit. But just tap the cross and it's gone.

By the way it isn't a site and and subscription. Lots on there about thyroid.

Karen154,

OK - as a mobile app it is based on the same data. And did you not have to do some registration in order to download, activate and use the app?

Just downloaded it from Android. Just like any other app.

Karen154,

I tried it and it demanded my credentials before I could use it.

Certainly, after first use. it will know who you are so will not need to ask. But effectively it logs in every time you use it using stored information.

I'm sorry your happy with it. It's a really good article. I wouldn't know what to search for off the app. As I said the cart in T3 dosage is invaluable.

If anyone is concerned about data. I would like to reiterate that the app isn't a site no subscribing or marketing. It's just an app.

Also - this is a site which requires full contact details to read or post blogs.

Can you please update on how are personal contact details are stored and used.

Doesn't RLC equate 1 grain with 100mcg levo? I think this other chart is more reasonable...if I found the right one that is...

Kell-E,

I don't agree with either of them, to be honest!

I have always suspected that the RLC equivalents are intended to suggest safe starting doses - very unlikely to cause overdosing if followed but needing incremental adjustment thereafter.

But the ones in your link are in exactly the opposite direction!

The fundamental problem is that there is no mathematical formula which will define an equivalent dose that works in everyone, not even a majority.

I'd take the cautious start if I were changing.

helvella ,

Yeah, I think it is somewhere in between the RLC chart and this one in the image. And there is probably a formula somewhere in the universe that would tell us just what to take. It likely has so many variables that affect each other our eyes would roll back into our heads. lol I'm almost relieved that it is by trial and error :)

Hi you need to search levothyroxine side effects. There are some interesting posts there.

It was the dose chart for using T3. Hadn't seen that anywhere before. Lots of people struggle with it.

Maybe someone technical could copy just the chart and have the information posted somewhere on the blog.
