After 11 weeks on 88 mcg t4 my results are:

Tsh 1,49 (0,4-4)

Ft4 1,37 (0,8-1,9)

Ft3 2,49 (1,8-4,2)

In october on 75 mcg: tsh 2,11, ft4 1,17, ft3 2,60

Does anyone have an explanation, please?

You are still not on high enough dose so it's time to increase too 100mcg

Many people find Levothyroxine brands are not interchangeable. Once you find a brand that suits you, best to make sure to only get that one at each prescription. Watch out fir different brands when changing to different dose

Always take Levo on empty stomach and then nothing apart from water for at least an hour after. Many take on waking, but it may be more convenient and possibly more effective taken at bedtime

Do you also have high thyroid antibodies? You need to know. Did GP or Endo ever test these? If not ask that they are tested.

Essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12. Always get actual results and ranges. Post results when you have them, members can advise

If antibodies are high this is Hashimoto's, (also known by medics here in UK more commonly as autoimmune thyroid disease).

About 90% of all hypothyroidism in Uk is due to Hashimoto's

Hashimoto's affects the gut and leads to low stomach acid and then low vitamin levels

Low vitamin levels affect Thyroid hormone working

I always take the same brand because in my country its the only, under the same conditions, at night. I have antibodies too. The blood test was done after the 26 hours away from t4. I hoped that ft3 would be higher this time...

Im on the gluten free diet for 2 weeks and i feel worse.

You need vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested too

These are very often too low and may need supplementing

You probably feel worse as your blood results show lower levels

You need FT4 towards top of range and FT3 at least half way in range

I find that freeT3 doesn't always match dose increases, although in the long term it does. You need another dose increase, and probably a few more, to get your freeT3 close to the top of the range.

For me I've wondered if it is because I increase my activity level quite a bit after I get more energy, and the extra T3 is getting used up. Even if you don't move around and do more, all your organs and muscles will be using it to keep your insides running more smoothly, too.

Not what you're looking for?
