NDT dose - compare to levothyroxine?

Hi Knowledgeable Friends

My brain fog, heavy legs, are stopping me functioning, day to day.

I keep losing my balance, my eyes are so tired! Tounge swollen, I am constipated, I'm on 2nd lot of antibiotics this month, etc, etc,

Can anyone please tell me if 60mg of Metavive 11 is equivalent to my previous dose, 100mcg of levothyroxine?

I also take 125mg adrenaline daily.

Metavive11 doesn't declare how much T4 and T3 is in 60mg so it's impossible to say what an equivalent Levothyroxine dose is. It sounds to me as though you are undermedicated. Can you order a TSH, FT4 and FT3 test to check? Medichecks offer #ThyroidThursday discounts healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

Thanks for quick reply. I am so... tired! I think I must be under medicated too. My hubby is pretty savvy with computer but cannot find info during his search either.

Fortunately, I had blood test yesterday, including B12, folate, vitamin d and thyroid profile. I will be pleased to get some answers.

Even my ears are buzzing... the joys of thyroid ups n downs..

He can't find it because it doesn't exist. It's positioned as a food supplement. If the company stated the T4 and T3 content they would have to comply with pharmaceutical regulations and wouldn't be able to sell over the counter without a prescription.

Write a new post with your results and ranges when you have them and members will advise.
